Several people asked me about the blue soft ball (also known as Pilates overball) we use in the classes. I love using them. It’s such a versatile little prop that can be used in many ways. You can easily adjust its size — usually more deflated when placed under the pelvis, and fuller when used under the shoulder blades for upper body extension. I’d recommend buying two balls straight away, so you can have them at the right volume for different types of exercises.
Pilates overball is also perfect for travel — I always take one on holiday with me! Just deflate it completely, pop it in your bag and you’re good to go.
